What data we collect

Training data

Session logs, splits, training zones, and plans are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure on-device storage. This data does not leave your device unless you choose to export it.

Account information

Apple HealthKit

With your permission, Quick Catch reads and writes workout data to Apple Health. This data never leaves Apple's ecosystem and is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Analytics and usage data

Quick Catch collects anonymised usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the training experience. This includes:

Analytics data is collected via PostHog and is transmitted securely over HTTPS. No personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or training content) is included in analytics events.

You can limit ad tracking in your device settings, which will also limit analytics identification.

AI plan generation

When you use the "Generate with AI" feature, your training preferences (training days, weekly volume, athlete type, heart rate range, and any optional notes) are sent to a secure processing endpoint to generate your plan. This data is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, or retained after your plan is returned.
